Grief coach module 1

Its honoring to be a grief coach and in the beginning, I felt anxious and excited about learning to benefit this experience. Grief has been a huge part of journey as young as 18 to the present. I realized there is more anxious feeling after the funeral. Huge change and fear of stepping forward and now I an idea on how to speak to the grievers. Instead of not knowing to say or do when family or friends die.

Christian Counselors Course

This is an online course that need ones full attention to reading the content for understanding and I can say, this has helped me immensely with being very focused on the topic and learning what the importance of being a Christian Counselor is about. My expectations are different from the beginning of the course, but as I go on, I have a different perspective of what the course is all about, more of spirituality than knowledge of knowing what counseling is about. I am at the middle of the course I was blown away by the depth of spiritual knowledge and the practical application that interwoven together. One of the key takeaways for me was the way to connect to the clients and making them feel loved and comfortable in whatever they may be going through. I know after the course, I need more help to be a better listener and more supportive counselor.

Intrinsicly Uncomplicated

This course is easy to follow. The structure and content is uncomplicated, intuitive, practicle and full of applicable and appliable information. For anyone wanting to break free from unsustainable means and methods of providing our families with their basic needs; water, food, safety, shelter, this course is for you! For anyone wanting to be a part of the global solution rather than part of the problem, this is for you! The relevancy and diversity of the content can be applied to any situation, anywhere in the world. I am learning and building on some of the skills and knowledge that I already have and will be able to start the process of resting, connecting, and healing from the trauma I have been subjected to in being forced to be part of a society that would rather dehumanise me. I am being provided with the necessary tools and techniques to gain imperitive skills that will not only help me and my community survive, but also... to thrive!
